Berwyn, PA · Main Line
Weddings, rehearsal dinners,
and the part after the reception ends.
Small weddings up to two hundred and fifty. Rehearsal dinners the night before. And the part people don't always plan for — somewhere for everyone to go when the reception finishes at ten and nobody's ready to stop.
After the reception
Wedding after-parties.
Your reception ends at ten, and sixty of your favourite people are wide awake and not remotely ready to go home.
That's what we're for. We're open until 2 AM on Friday and Saturday — no entry after 1 AM — we have a proper dance floor, a DJ, a full bar, and a kitchen still sending food out at midnight when everyone realises they were too busy to eat at their own wedding.
One thing to plan around: last entry is 1 AM. Nobody's admitted after that, though everyone already inside can stay until we close at 2. So if the reception runs long, get the shuttle moving before one.
Take the lounge for the wedding party, or the whole first floor for everyone. Late‑night food from the catering menu, a bar tab you set in advance, and pool tables for the people who've done enough dancing.

Three ways we fit into a wedding
Not every couple needs all of it.
Rehearsal dinners
Thirty in the lounge or a hundred in the event space. A seated dinner from the catering menu, a private bar, and somewhere the two families can actually hear each other. Guests staying nearby can walk or take the train.
Any night, including Sunday & MondaySmall weddings
Ceremony and reception in Midtown Hall for 50 to 250, with sound, lighting, dance floor and catering already in the building. Cocktail hour downstairs, dinner and dancing upstairs.
Up to 250 · both floors up to 500After-parties
For couples getting married anywhere on the Main Line. Your reception ends, ours starts. Open to 1 AM, kitchen still running, dance floor already warm.
Friday & Saturday to 2 AMWhy small works better here
You're not the third wedding that day.
We do one at a time. The building is yours, nobody's waiting for your room, and the person who answers the phone in January is the person who's there in September.
We've been doing this on this corner since 2012, when we were 30 Main. It's a family business with one location and no investors — which mostly means that if something goes wrong on the night, the people fixing it are the people whose name is on the door.

Your guests
Nobody has the long drive.
Thirty minutes from Philadelphia, thirty from West Chester, fifteen from King of Prussia. Wherever your two families are coming from, the journey is roughly even — which is more than most Main Line venues can say.
Berwyn station is directly across the street on SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale line, so guests coming from the city can take the train to the door and back again. At a wedding with an open bar, that matters.
Free parking in the lot behind the building and in several lots within a three‑minute walk. Valet for larger events. Full parking detail.
Put 658A East Lancaster Avenue, Berwyn PA 19312 on your invitations if you're upstairs in Midtown Hall — it takes guests to the right door.
Around the wedding
The rest of it, too.
Engagement parties, bridal showers, bachelor and bachelorette nights, morning-after brunches, and the welcome drinks on the Thursday when out‑of‑town guests start arriving.
Couples often end up booking two or three of these with us across a year, which is the part we like best — by the wedding, we know the family.
In their words
Couples who've done it here.
You’ll get a faster answer, and a better one.
Plenty of sites will take your event enquiry and pass it on. We'd rather you just told us.
When you contact us here, you're talking to the family who runs the building — not a lead form that lands in five venues' inboxes at once. You get a real answer about your actual date, usually within a business day, from someone who knows whether the room works for what you're planning.
Call 610-220-2367 or send us the date. That's the fastest route to a real number.
Yes — and enough of it for a full room.
The question every host asks, so here's the real answer rather than “free parking available.”
Behind the building, first right off Main Avenue. Free. Fills first.
140 spaces, both sides of the tracks. Free after 5 PM and all weekend — this is the one that absorbs a big group.
Top of the hill on Main Avenue, past the stop sign. Free.
Lancaster Avenue and the side streets, plus additional parking behind the old Malvern Federal building. Please don't park in front of the houses on Main Avenue.
Free lots and street parking all within three minutes. Between them there's room for a full building — it's the reason we can host 500 people without a parking problem. For a big event we'll point your guests at the station lot, which has the space.
Valet is available for large private events. Ask when you book and we'll arrange it, with signage and staff directing your guests to the right lot. It doesn't run on ordinary nights.
And Berwyn station is directly across Lancaster Avenue on the Paoli/Thorndale line — genuinely useful at an event with an open bar. Full parking detail and directions.
Next step
Tell us the date and roughly how many.
We'll come back with availability, which room fits, and a menu to react to. Most inquiries hear back within one business day.
