Two floors · Four spaces
Private events in Berwyn, from thirty guests to five hundred.
Available seven days a week, with rooms from $250. Two floors, eight thousand square feet, and five ways to book them. Thirty minutes from Philadelphia, thirty from West Chester, fifteen from King of Prussia — so wherever your guests are coming from, nobody has the long drive. Reunions, holiday parties, birthdays, Greek formals and mixers, bridal and baby showers, rehearsal dinners, corporate dinners, wedding receptions and galas. Running a fundraiser? We do reduced rates for nonprofits and school groups. One building, one team, one invoice.
The spaces
Five ways to book it.
Three spaces on the first floor — the lounge, the event space, or both together — the hall upstairs, or the entire building. Room rentals start at $250. Every space is available seven days a week, including Sundays and Mondays, when we're closed to the public and the whole building is yours.
20–30 guests · First floor · from $250
The Lounge
Our smallest booking, and the easiest one to say yes to.
The bar area on the ground floor, held for your group. You don't need a hundred people or a sit‑down dinner to book a room here — four is enough. Drinks and appetizers, a dedicated bartender, and the pool tables right there.
Best for birthday drinks, engagement toasts, team nights, client entertaining, book clubs, post‑game gatherings and the sort of thing that usually ends up being "let's just meet at the bar and hope there's room."
Passed appetizers, bar packages, and the games included. Available seven days.
80–100 guests
First Floor Event Space
Our mid‑size room, and the one most showers, birthdays and corporate dinners land in. Seated dinners, buffets and stations all work here, and it's separate enough from the lounge that your party isn't sharing a room with a Friday night crowd.
Seated or standing layouts, full catering, staffing included.
Up to 200 guests
First Floor Buyout
The event space and the lounge together — the entire ground floor.
Take the whole first floor and the two rooms become one party. Cocktails and games in the lounge, dinner and dancing in the event space, one bar serving both, and the whole floor to yourselves for the evening.
This is the sweet spot for a lot of events — bigger than a single room, without the cost of the whole building. It also means guests can move: there's somewhere to sit and talk when the music gets loud, and a pool table for the people who've had enough of the dance floor.
Includes the bar, the games, and both rooms. Available seven days.

Midtown Hall
658A East Lancaster Avenue — the hall has its own street address. Use it on invitations.
The second‑floor venue, and the largest event space on this stretch of the Main Line. A professional sound system, dance floor, stage lighting, and layouts that flex from a seated wedding reception to a standing fundraiser to a corporate town hall.
Sound, lighting, and AV are already in the room — you're not renting a bare hall and hiring three vendors to make it usable.

Both Floors
The largest private capacity on this stretch of the Main Line.
Every room in the building at once — the lounge, the first floor event space, and Midtown Hall upstairs. The whole place, just for you. Five hundred people, two bars, two floors, one host.
This is what makes the building unusual. Most venues our size are one big room, so a five‑hundred‑person event is five hundred people in a box. Here, a cocktail hour happens in the lounge, dinner is served in the hall, and the dance floor opens upstairs while the downstairs bar keeps running for anyone who wants to hear themselves talk.
Galas, fundraisers, large weddings, holiday parties, conferences, community events. Ask about daytime events too — we're closed to the public before 4 PM, so a lunch or brunch booking gets you the whole building with nobody else in it. Sundays and Mondays we're closed all day.

What we do most
Four kinds of party we're built for.
We host everything — but these are the ones we've done hundreds of, and the ones where having a bar, a kitchen, a dance floor and a 250‑person room in the same building actually changes the night.
Fall & summer
Reunions
High school and college. Conestoga and the Tredyffrin/Easttown district are up the road, and we're the obvious room for a T/E class that's scattered and wants somewhere to come back to — along with Radnor, Harriton, and the Main Line private schools. Fifty people or two hundred and fifty, with a bar that stays open and a dance floor when the speeches are done.
Ask about the night before Thanksgiving — the single best reunion night of the year, because everyone is already home.

Holiday parties
Company parties, team dinners, client entertaining, neighbourhood and family gatherings. We're available all seven days in December, including the Sundays and Mondays when we're closed to the public and you get the whole building to yourselves.
December books out early. The good dates go in September.

Birthdays
Thirtieths through eightieths, surprise parties, milestone dinners. Four people in the lounge for drinks and appetizers, a hundred in the event space for a sit‑down dinner, or the whole hall with a DJ. Pool tables and a dance floor mean nobody's stuck at a table all night.

Sweet sixteens
We run dedicated sweet sixteen packages — the room, a DJ, the dance floor, food built for teenagers rather than a scaled‑down adult menu, and a bar for the parents who stay.
Private events are exempt from our 10 PM age policy, so the party runs as late as you've booked it. Ask us what's included.

Wedding after-parties
Your reception ends at ten and nobody's ready to go home. We're open to 1 AM with a dance floor, a DJ and a kitchen still running. For couples married anywhere on the Main Line, not just here.
Rehearsal dinners and small weddings too.

Greek life — formals, mixers & philanthropy
Villanova is ten minutes down Lancaster Avenue, with Eastern, Immaculata, West Chester and Penn State Great Valley nearby. Formals, semi‑formals, mixers, philanthropy nights, senior send‑offs and alumni weekends.
Every chapter event is a closed private booking — upstairs in Midtown Hall or a shut‑off first floor room. Your night gets its own space and its own bar, which is better for everyone.
21+ wristbanding, ID checked at the door, and a written headcount. We'll talk to your chapter advisor or risk manager directly if that helps.

We're the venue and the caterer.
That's the part that saves people the most trouble. You aren't coordinating a room rental with an outside caterer with a rental company with a DJ. It's one team.
- Custom menus — see the full catering menu
- Full staffing — servers, bartenders, captains
- Rentals, linens, and tableware
- Lighting and AV setup
- DJs and live music booking
- Event planning and day-of coordination
- Bar packages, open or consumption
Weekdays, second floor
An 8,000 square foot room that sits empty until four o'clock.
Midtown Hall does weddings on Saturday nights. Monday to Friday, daytime and early evening, it's a large, quiet, fully equipped room going spare — and we'd rather it earned its keep than sat dark. $250 to $500 for the day or the evening.
Half or full day
Corporate training & offsites
Professional sound, projection and AV already installed. Room for fifty to two hundred and fifty, laid out however you need — classroom, boardroom, theatre or breakout tables. Free parking, and Berwyn station is across the street, so a team scattered across the region can all get here.
Add coffee, breakfast or a working lunch from our kitchen.
Recurring or one-off
Classes & workshops
Dance, fitness, martial arts, art classes, test prep, tutoring, CPR and certification courses, professional development. A big open floor with a dance floor already in it and no furniture to work around.
Weekly and monthly rates for anything recurring.
Evenings before we open
Band & theatre rehearsals
A real stage, a professional PA, stage lighting, and a room where nobody is going to complain about the volume. Easy load‑in from the back. Cheaper than most rehearsal spaces and considerably better equipped.
Play here often enough and we'll talk about putting you on a Friday.
Small groups
Meetings & community groups
Board meetings, HOA and township meetings, nonprofit planning days, club nights, auditions, castings, photo and video shoots. Book the room for a morning without a per‑head minimum or a catering requirement.
Company holiday parties too — carved stations, passed hors d'oeuvres and a labelled buffet, with vegetarian options marked.
Outdoor tented space can be arranged for a private event when the weather and the date work — we ran it through 2020 and can set it up again. Ask when you enquire.

Second floor, reached by stairs. Not wheelchair accessible. If anyone attending can't manage stairs, ask us about the first floor event space instead — it holds 80 to 100 and it is accessible.
Sound, projection and AV are already installed, and the parking is free. Tell us what you're running and roughly how many, and we'll quote it.
Fewer than twenty? Private bookings start at twenty guests — but that doesn't mean we can't look after you. Call 610-220-2367 and tell us the date and what you're celebrating.
We'll tell you what's on that night, hold you the right table or a corner of the lounge, and sort the cake and anything else you need. A birthday for eight is still a birthday.

You’ll get a faster answer, and a better one.
Plenty of sites will take your event enquiry and pass it on. We'd rather you just told us.
When you contact us here, you're talking to the family who runs the building — not a lead form that lands in five venues' inboxes at once. You get a real answer about your actual date, usually within a business day, from someone who knows whether the room works for what you're planning.
Call 610-220-2367 or send us the date. That's the fastest route to a real number.
Yes — and enough of it for a full room.
The question every host asks, so here's the real answer rather than “free parking available.”
Behind the building, first right off Main Avenue. Free. Fills first.
140 spaces, both sides of the tracks. Free after 5 PM and all weekend — this is the one that absorbs a big group.
Top of the hill on Main Avenue, past the stop sign. Free.
Lancaster Avenue and the side streets, plus additional parking behind the old Malvern Federal building. Please don't park in front of the houses on Main Avenue.
Free lots and street parking all within three minutes. Between them there's room for a full building — it's the reason we can host 500 people without a parking problem. For a big event we'll point your guests at the station lot, which has the space.
Valet is available for large private events. Ask when you book and we'll arrange it, with signage and staff directing your guests to the right lot. It doesn't run on ordinary nights.
And Berwyn station is directly across Lancaster Avenue on the Paoli/Thorndale line — genuinely useful at an event with an open bar. Full parking detail and directions.
Music, food, and the things people ask last
Yes to most of it.
The questions that usually come at the end of a call, answered before you have to make the call.
Can we have a DJ?
Yes. Bring your own, or use one of ours — we work with DJs every weekend and can put you in touch with someone who knows the room. Both floors have sound installed, and Midtown Hall has an LED dance floor and truss lighting.
Can we have a live band?
Yes. Midtown Hall has a proper stage, professional sound and truss lighting, and holds up to 250. The first floor has a stage and PA for something smaller. Bring your own band, or ask us — we book acts most weeks and can suggest someone who suits the night.
Can we just play our own playlist?
Yes. Plug into the house system and run it off a phone or a laptop. Plenty of parties do exactly that, and it costs nothing extra.
Is there dancing?
Two dance floors — one downstairs in the lounge, an LED floor upstairs in Midtown Hall. If dancing matters to your night, say so and we'll lay the room out for it.
What about food and drinks?
We're the venue and the caterer, so it's one contract and one contact. Buffets, plated dinners, carving stations, passed hors d'oeuvres, grazing tables, dessert stations — the catering menu runs to 142 items, with vegetarian and vegan options in every section.
On the bar: open bar, consumption bar, drink tickets, beer and wine only, or cash bar. Tell us the budget and we'll tell you which one fits it.
Can we decorate, or bring our own cake?
Yes to both, and there's no cakeage fee. Bring decorations, balloons, a photo wall, a cake from wherever you like. We also have a mirror shimmer wall, a flower wall and neon signs in-house if you'd rather not source your own.
Set-up access is arranged with your date — just ask when you book.
Is there AV for a slideshow or speeches?
Yes. Projection and screens on both floors, microphones for speeches and toasts, and staff who've done enough of these to know when to turn the music down. Send the slideshow beforehand and we'll test it.
What does it actually cost?
Room hire starts at $250 for The Lounge. Everything above that depends on the room, the day, the guest count and what you want served — which is why we quote rather than publish a price list that would be wrong for most people.
Tell us the date, the headcount and roughly what you have in mind, and you'll get a real number back.
Next step
Tell us the date and the guest count.
We'll come back with availability, the rooms that fit, and a menu to react to. Most inquiries hear back within one business day.
