We're from here.
So we help where we can.
The DiDomenicos have lived on the Main Line their whole lives and have run this corner since 2012. Our staff come from around here, our guests are our neighbours, and the causes people bring us are usually causes we already care about.
Why we say yes
A town this size looks after itself.
We're one building with one location and no investors, which means every decision about who we support gets made by the family whose name is on the door — so we can actually say yes when it matters. The DiDomenicos live in Easttown Township; this is the town, not a market.
Over fourteen years on Lancaster Avenue we've hosted benefit nights, donated to school auctions, put our room behind local causes, and run bar crawls with the businesses either side of us for the Berwyn Fire Company. When the fire company, the schools, the youth teams and the community groups here do well, so do we. That isn't a marketing position, it's just how a small town works.
If you want the short version of what we mean: the mural on Main Avenue exists because a few people who care about Berwyn kept talking about a blank wall. It's a tribute to my father, who ran the business association here for ten years.
We also keep a guide to what's happening around Berwyn and the Main Line — township events, school concerts, theatre, markets and the rest, with links straight through to whoever's running them.
And Before & After at Midtown — if you're heading to a show, a game, a school event or anything local, show us your same-day ticket and there's something for the table on us.
There's also the Social Media Mayors — local moms, friends and regulars who help get people out and bring the community together. No following required, just a love for the place.
We sponsor the Conestoga Pioneers. Half this town went to Conestoga or has a kid there now, and backing the teams is the least complicated decision we make all year.
We can't say yes to everything — we're one small business and the requests add up. But we read every one, and if we can't help this time we'll tell you honestly rather than leave you waiting.
Four ways we can help
Pick whichever fits your cause.
The easiest one to say yes to
Dine & Donate nights
Pick a night, promote it to your supporters, and we donate a share of that night's sales to your cause. Your people get dinner and a night out, you get a cheque, and nobody has to organise a raffle.
You bring the crowd, we handle everything else. Works best on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday — and we'll give you flyers and a graphic to share.
For auctions & raffles
Gift cards & packages
Gift cards and dinner packages for silent auctions, raffles, tricky trays and golf outings. If your event needs a bigger-ticket item, ask — we can put together something with dinner, drinks and the games room.
Please give us at least four weeks so we're not scrambling the week of your event.
Up to 500 guests
Host your fundraiser here
Midtown Hall takes 50 to 250, both floors take up to 500, and the lounge works for a committee dinner of four. Catering, bar, staff, sound and lighting are all ours, so your volunteers aren't chasing five vendors.
Reduced rates for registered nonprofits and school groups — tell us your budget and we'll work to it.
Something different
Custom fundraiser events
A comedy benefit. A trivia night with a leaderboard. A tasting event, a themed party, a live music night with the door going to your cause. We build the night around what your supporters will actually turn up for.
This is the fun one, and it usually raises more than a raffle. Come to us with a goal rather than a format.
Who we support
Local causes, mostly.
Schools and PTOs, youth sports and booster clubs, the fire company and first responders, churches and religious groups, food banks, animal rescues, health and medical causes, veterans' organisations, arts and music programmes, and neighbours going through something hard.
We give priority to organisations based in or serving Berwyn, Devon, Wayne, Paoli, Malvern, Strafford, Chesterbrook, Daylesford and the surrounding Main Line — and especially to Easttown and Tredyffrin Township groups and the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District community.
Conestoga, T/E Middle, Valley Forge Middle, and the district's elementary schools, their PTOs, booster clubs and sports teams: you're our neighbours, and your parents are our customers. Ask.
Before you ask
What helps us say yes.
- Lead time
- 4 weeks minimum
- Area
- Easttown, Tredyffrin & the Main Line
- Schools
- T/E district & nearby
- Requests per group
- One a year
- We reply within
- One week
- Nonprofit status
- Helpful, not required
School groups, teams and neighbourhood causes without formal nonprofit status are welcome to ask — plenty of the best things we've supported didn't have an EIN.
We get more requests than we can fill, so being specific about the date, the ask and the cause genuinely improves your odds.
The form
Tell us about your cause.
Everything here goes straight to the family. We read them all.
If your event is inside four weeks, call 610-220-2367 instead — we may still be able to help, but the form won't move fast enough.
Already working with us?
If you've booked a fundraiser here before and just need a date, mention it in the notes and we'll pick up where we left off.
One more thing
Running something on the street?
Bar crawls, block parties, town events, fun runs, tree lightings. We've done them before with the businesses either side of us and we'd do them again — a busy Berwyn is better for everyone on this block.
