Dinner after the last class.
Minutes down the same road.
Twelve days, a hundred and twenty thousand people, and one thing everybody needs at the end of a long day at the ringside: somewhere to sit down, eat properly and have a drink. We're straight up Lancaster Avenue in Berwyn, with free parking — which after a day on Dorset Road you'll appreciate.

Same road, same railroad
We're on the Main Line for the same reason Devon is.
The Devon Horse Show has run since 1896, and the phrase “the Main Line” comes from the Pennsylvania Railroad branch that made Devon and Berwyn what they are. We're at 660 East Lancaster Avenue, directly across from Berwyn station on those same tracks — a few minutes west of the show grounds on the same road.
So: no highway, no complicated route. Come out of Dorset Road, turn west on Lancaster, and you're here. Park free in our lot behind the building or in one of several free lots within a three‑minute walk.
Riding the train in? Devon and Berwyn are one stop apart on the Paoli/Thorndale line.
Through the show
Twelve days is a lot of dinners.
Exhibitors, trainers, grooms, owners and families are here for the duration. So are the volunteers, the sponsors and everyone who comes back three or four times across the run. You need more than one restaurant.
Dinner & a drink
Classes run into the evening under the lights. Our kitchen serves till 8 and the bar menu carries on — to 10 Tuesday to Thursday, to midnight Friday and Saturday. Ribeye, jumbo lump crab cake, wagyu burgers, a real cocktail list.
Doors 4 PM · Tue–SatGroups & long tables
Six people or sixty. The lounge takes four to thirty for drinks and appetizers from $250; the event space seats 80 to 100 for a proper dinner. Book ahead during the show — these two weeks fill.
From $250Somewhere that isn't a tent
Air conditioning, a fireplace, pool tables, and every screen showing whatever else is on. A good place to reset before an evening class, or to sit down when the weather turns.
Free parkingPrivate dining during the show
Barn parties, owner dinners, sponsor entertaining.
The show is as much about the entertaining as the classes. If you're a barn thanking your clients, an owner taking out a syndicate, a sponsor hosting guests, or a family celebrating a win, we have five rooms — from twenty guests up to five hundred.
Book these early. The last week of May is one of the busiest stretches of our year, and the good nights go months ahead.

The rest of the season
Devon runs more than one show.
The grounds are busy well beyond the spring. Brass Ring at Devon brings regional riders in every July, and the Devon Fall Classic jumper show returns each September. Both fill the same hotels, the same barns and the same roads — and we're open through all of it.

Good luck in the ring.
The Devon Horse Show has raised money for Bryn Mawr Hospital since 1896 and it's the best fortnight of the year around here. Come see us when the classes are done.
