For musicians, DJs & comics

We've been booking music on this corner since 2012 and we book local and regional acts most weeks. Two rooms, a real audience that came for dinner and stayed, and a straightforward conversation about money.
How we work
Straightforward, and we answer.
We tell you what we can pay before you commit. No "exposure", no vague promises, no finding out on the night. Terms depend on the room, the night and what you draw, and we'll say the number out loud.
We promote the night properly — the calendar on this site, our social channels, and the room itself. We feed you. And we don't make you sell your own tickets to earn your fee.
A person reads every submission and replies either way, usually within a week. If you're not right for the room we'll say so rather than leave you wondering.
Two rooms
Pick the one that fits.
First floor
The Lounge
A stage, a PA and a proper dance floor in a room that's already full because people came for dinner. Best for solo and acoustic sets, trios, and DJs. The kitchen runs to eight and the bar to 2 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
No cover on most nights, so the room is whoever's already in it — which is a real audience rather than a ticket count.
Second floor
Midtown Hall
8,000 square feet, a proper stage, professional sound, truss lighting and an LED dance floor. Up to 250. This is where ticketed shows, full bands and touring productions go, with its own bar so nobody has to go downstairs.
Second floor, reached by stairs. No lift — worth knowing if you're carrying a kit.
Load-in is off Main Avenue. Free parking behind the building, and Berwyn station is directly across Lancaster Avenue if the band's coming in by train.
What we book
Most weeks, most kinds of act.
Live bands
Covers, originals, tributes, party bands. Downstairs for a set people can eat through, upstairs when the room needs to be bigger.
Solo & acoustic
Early sets, 6 to 8, while the kitchen's running. A good living for a good player, and the room actually listens.
DJs
Weekend nights on the first floor, plus private events all year. If you can read a room that's had dinner, we want to hear from you.
Comics
Open mic every Thursday at 7:30, hosted by Bradford Davis — just turn up and put your name down. Ticketed showcase nights get booked separately.
Ticketed shows
Midtown Hall takes 250 seated, so we bring in productions that need a real room. Tickets through Eventbrite.
Private event acts
Weddings, corporate nights and parties book bands and DJs through us all year. Being on our list means work that isn't only Friday and Saturday.

Straight answers
The things people ask.
Do you pay?
Yes, and we tell you the number before you commit. It depends on the room, the night and what you draw. Ticketed shows in Midtown Hall are arranged separately. We don't ask acts to sell their own tickets to earn a fee.
What's the sound situation?
Midtown Hall has a professional system, a stage and truss lighting installed. The first floor has a stage, PA and dance floor. Specific backline and engineering get agreed per booking — tell us what you need when you submit and we'll be straight about what we have.
How big is the room?
Midtown Hall upstairs holds up to 250. The first floor holds up to 200 for a full buyout. Both floors together, 500.
Midtown Hall is on the second floor and reached by stairs only, with no lift. Worth knowing before you plan the load-in.
Where's load-in and parking?
Load-in is off Main Avenue, on the side of the building with the mural. There's a free lot behind the building, more free lots within a three-minute walk, and Berwyn station is directly across Lancaster Avenue.
Do you book originals, or only covers?
Both. Covers and party bands work well downstairs where people are eating and drinking; originals and tributes tend to suit a ticketed night upstairs where the room came specifically for you. Tell us which you'd rather and we'll be honest about the fit.
I'm a comic. Do I need to submit?
Not for the open mic — every Thursday at 7:30, hosted by Bradford Davis. Turn up, put your name down, get five minutes. No charge to perform. Ticketed showcase nights are booked separately, so use the form for those.
Will you actually reply?
Yes, either way. If you're not right for the room we'd rather tell you than leave you refreshing your inbox. Usually within a week.
Can I get booked for private events too?
Yes, and it's worth asking. We host weddings, corporate nights and parties all year, and hosts regularly want a band or DJ. That's work that isn't only Friday and Saturday. Say so on the form.
While you're deciding
Come and see the room first.
Genuinely the best thing you can do. Come on a Friday, watch what the room does, and work out whether your set fits it. Then send us the link.
