The thing that's different
Come for dinner. Stay for the band.
You get a table. A twelve‑ounce ribeye, a jumbo lump crab cake, a proper cocktail list, and a conversation you can hold — and then a band, a DJ or a comic, and a dance floor when you're ready for it.
We've been booking music on this corner since 2012, back when the sign said 30 Main. Long enough to know what a good night looks like: people who came for dinner, stayed for the set, and were still here at last call.
Two rooms
Pick your night.
The lounge
Karaoke Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, DJ Mike every other Saturday, plus acoustic sets and guest nights. Tables, sofas, a fireplace and pool tables, with the kitchen running and the bar menu going to midnight at weekends.
Walk in · no coverMidtown Hall
The big room, with a professional sound system, a proper stage, truss lighting and an LED dance floor. Ticketed shows, guest DJs and themed parties.
Stairs only · not step-freeGetting in and out
Free lot behind the building and more free parking within three minutes. Berwyn station is across the street, so you can take the train and not think about the drive home.
Doors 4 PM Tue–SatShows in Midtown Hall are upstairs and reached by stairs. The second floor is not wheelchair accessible. The first floor is. If stairs are a problem for anyone in your group, call 610-220-2367 before you buy a ticket and we'll tell you honestly whether the night will work.
Dancing
Two dance floors.
Downstairs, a proper floor in the lounge — karaoke Tuesday and Friday, a DJ on Saturday, running to 1 AM. Upstairs in Midtown Hall, an LED floor with truss lighting for bigger nights, themed parties and private events.
Both are real floors with sound built for them, and on a good night the whole building is going at once.

What we book
Anything a Tuesday-to-Saturday room can carry.
Live bands
Rock, soul, funk, blues, Americana, party bands and tribute acts. Downstairs for a casual night, upstairs when it needs a stage.
Solo & acoustic
Singer‑songwriters and duos through dinner service, when the room is full and people are actually listening.
Ticketed touring shows
Midtown Hall takes 250 seated, so we bring in shows that need a real room — touring productions, tribute acts and comedy nights. Tickets through Eventbrite.
DJs
Residents every Friday and Saturday from 8, plus guest sets and themed nights. Real dance floor, real sound.
Open mic comedy
Every Thursday at 7:30, hosted by Bradford Davis. Come to watch, or put your name down — plenty of people here started on that mic. Karaoke takes over when the comedy finishes.
Don't miss one
We'll tell you who's playing.
One email, roughly every couple of weeks, with what's coming up. No offers, no newsletter, nothing about the menu — just who's on and when. Unsubscribe in one click.

We book local and regional acts most weeks, we tell you what we can pay before you commit, and a person replies either way — usually within a week.

Straight answers
The things people ask.
Is there a cover charge?
Most nights, no. Karaoke, open mic comedy and the weekend DJ are all free to walk into. Ticketed shows in Midtown Hall are the exception, and those are always marked on the calendar with a ticket link.
What kind of music do you book?
Cover bands, party bands, tribute acts, originals, acoustic and solo sets, and DJs playing top 40, throwbacks and dance. Yacht rock, classic rock, soul, pop — if it works in a room where people are eating and drinking, we'll book it.
Early sets, 6 to 8, tend to be acoustic and solo. Later gets louder.
Do I need a reservation to see a band?
Not to get in. But if you want a table for dinner before the set, book it — those go, especially on a night with a band on. Tables up to eight book through OpenTable; nine or more use the group form.
Can I hear the music from the dining area?
Yes, and you can still hear the person opposite you. That's deliberate. The first floor is built so a set plays over dinner rather than through it — and if you want it loud, the dance floor is a few steps away.
Upstairs or downstairs?
Both. Smaller sets, karaoke and the weekend DJ are on the first floor. Bigger shows and ticketed nights go upstairs in Midtown Hall, which holds 250 and has a stage, professional sound and an LED dance floor.
Midtown Hall is second floor, stairs only, no lift.
How do I find out who's playing?
The calendar is always current. Or get the email — one message every couple of weeks with who's on, nothing else.
How late does it go?
The bar runs to 1 AM Friday and Saturday, 10 PM Tuesday to Thursday. Last entry is 1 AM — nobody's admitted after that — but if you're already in, we don't close until 2.
Can under 21s come to a show?
With a parent or guardian, until 10 PM. After that it's 21 and over, checked at the door. Ticketed shows sometimes differ — the event listing will say.
I'm in a band. Can we play here?
Yes — we book local and regional acts most weeks. Here's how to get booked, including what we pay and what the rooms are like.
