If you're looking for 30 Main in Berwyn, you've found it. We're at 660 East Lancaster Avenue, we've been here since 2012, and in 2023 we became Midtown Social.

Why the change

The old name described a restaurant.

30 Main opened in 2012 as the DiDomenico family's answer to a gap they'd noticed after a lifetime on the Main Line: plenty of good places to eat, nowhere to actually go out.

Over fourteen years it grew past what the name could hold. The upstairs became a full event venue. The catering arm started working off‑site across Chester and Delaware counties. The weekends turned into DJs and a dance floor. By 2025, telling people we were a bistro on Main Avenue was undershooting it badly — and half the town couldn't find us, because we're on Lancaster.

So the name changed. Nothing else did. Same owners, same kitchen, same building, same corner. If you had your daughter's shower here in 2019, it's the same room.

Then

Voted Best of the Main Line for casual dining and entertainment. Neighborhood Favorite in 2023. Fourteen years of graduations, mitzvahs, showers, rehearsal dinners, memorial luncheons and Saturday nights.

Now

A cocktail lounge and kitchen downstairs, bar games in the front room, DJs and live music on the weekend, and Midtown Hall upstairs for up to 250 guests.

Still

Family‑run out of Easttown Township. One building, one team, no second location and no outside investors. We hire locally and we buy locally.
